You've found my site! I'm Elke (LK), and with the help of my greatest companion, Hildie, we have built this website as a shop for my postcards and gallery for my film photos. All images published and distributed on this site are my own, taken by me (or my cat) on 35mm film. Who Am I?


I am a Chicago based photographer, taking photos of everything that I consider inspiring. These inspirations are mostly found in my city, in its greenery, in my loved ones, and in my sweet cat.
I fell in love with film when my late Uncle Tom gifted me his Pentax IQZoom EZY-R, an old point-and-shoot camera. After moving from Florida to Chicago I lucked into finding beauty around every corner.
Having always loved and collected postcards, making my own with my original images is a small dream come true. This way I can share my images beyond Instagram, they can bring tangible emotions to anyone with a few dollars to spare. They don’t even have to be sent out, you could use it like a print for decor, that’s what I use most of my postcards for myself.
